I have been a fan of the mighty boosh for years and the first time I watched it i said to my best friend corrrr who is moustachio man? from then on I was about hooked!
I first met Julian on November 3rd 2012 at the Royal Court Theatre, London. I had been to see his play NSFW, I knew the stage door was a great bet so waited after in the hope he would come out, after about 5 minutes he came out......... I literally could not breathe!!! he saw me and we locked eyes (I gave him my creepy don't go past me eyes) and I said Julian! he was super lovely and we spoke for 10 minutes about the play and my tattoos and all sorts of general banter really, he happily posed for a photo and signed my play script, when we were having our picture taken I accidentally put my hand on his butt (he is tall and i misjudged haha i then stroked his hand.... fail but WOW) ....... my friend managed to somehow blur the pics but I still love them.
The second time I met the lovely Julian was 22nd November when I took another friend of mine to watch the play, again I waited at the stage door and he didn't disappoint, he signed some stuff for others that were there and saw me waiting and smiled. When everybody else had finished we spoke again about how my best friend had previously met him and how she had hit him with a newspaper because she was hung over and thought she imagined it! he was cracking up so hard!! we had another photo and went down to the bar where he met up with his girlfriend, comedienne Julia Davis, their twins and his parents.
I can honestly say I was bowled over by this man and I was at a film premiere last weekend for a film he is in and I stood next to him but I had had a little too much to drink so I thought it best to go and sort myself out before i spoke to him but alas when I returned he had gone home, it was a shame but I have met my idol twice, that's more than most and I consider myself very lucky.
